    Yes. 360 never builds advertising profiles, never sells your data, and never serves targeted ads. Search is powered by [SearXNG](https://searxng.org), an open-source meta-search engine that aggregates results without identifying you to individual search providers. What you search for stays between you and 360.

    No — an account is completely optional. You can use search, the AI assistant, weather, the translator, stocks, and most other tools without signing up. An account is only required if you want to sync your preferences, AI conversation history, and 360Notes across multiple devices.

    DuckDuckGo has a search syndication agreement with Microsoft, meaning Bing powers a portion of its results and Microsoft has some visibility into searches. 360 has no such arrangement. 360 is fully open source, powered by SearXNG, and has no commercial deals with any search giant or ad network.
